If somebody asks me who I am, I answer simply: a mother of three. This role defines me the most. I left my job as a group tour organiser in April 2017 to pursue it. At the time, I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy it. I only knew that I wanted to give it my all. No nine-to-five job could ever matter more to me than raising my children.

I cannot deny the challenges of motherhood. However, it remains the most natural and rewarding role I can think of. Growing up, I always wanted two children. I loved having an older sister myself. After a boy and a girl, our family seemed complete.

Then, my husband and I realised we were not ready to see our children grow up so fast. We wanted to start the journey all over again. In the summer of 2023, our second daughter was born. Now, it feels as if life had never been any other way.

My family duties often keep me from my desk. Even so, I deeply appreciate my main source of inspiration. My family sits at the very heart of my journey as a writer and a mother of three.
