If somebody asked me who I am, my answer would be a stay-at-home mom of three. This is what defines me the most. When I left my job as a group tour organizer in April 2017, I wasn’t sure whether I would enjoy it. All I knew was that I wanted to give it my all. No nine-to-five job could be more important to me than raising my children.

I cannot deny that being a mother is challenging. However, it is also the most natural and rewarding occupation I can think of. Growing up, I always wanted to have two kids, as I enjoyed having an older sister myself. After a boy and a girl, our family seemed complete.

Then, my husband and I realized one day that we weren’t ready to see our children grow up so fast. We wanted to start all over again. In the summer of 2023, our second daughter was born. Now, it feels as if it had never been any other way.

Whilst family duties often keep me from writing, I deeply appreciate my main source of inspiration: my family! They are the heart of my journey as a writer and a stay-at-home mom.
