Mother of Three
If somebody asked me who I am, my answer would be a mother of three. This is what defines me the most. When I left my job as a travel organiser in April 2017, I wasn’t sure whether I would enjoy being a stay-at-home mom. All I knew was that I wanted to give it my all and that no nine to five job could be more important than raising children.
I cannot deny that being a mother is challenging. But it also is the most natural and rewarding occupation I can think of. Growing up I always wanted to have two kids as I enjoyed having an older sister myself. After a boy and a girl our family seemed complete until my husband and I realised one day that we weren’t ready to see our children growing up so fast. We wanted to start all over again. In summer 2023 our second daughter was born and it feels like as if it had never been any other way.
Whilst family duties often keep me from writing, I appreciate my main source of inspiration that is my family!
